One of Syntech’s many strengths lies in its engineering team whose specific focus is on supporting manufacturing. The team works closely with all our customers supporting the transformation of a prototype design into a volume manufacturable solution. The team supports both the electronic design, use of components and mechanical support for design and materials. In addition Syntech offer full support in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), Test solutions, safety and EMC qualification.

Specialising in RF, wireless and digital designs, the team are able to provide complete or partial solutions for customer’s products entering into production, using the latest components and techniques.

The team also has extensive experience in the use of specialised metals, plastic injection, plastic forming and a range of composites.

In conjunction with our Automated Production Control System (APCS) the team can provide full support for prototype builds and New Product Introductions (NPI).  Results from initial batches will be analysed and by working with the customer we can undertake design centering to ensure optimised yield, reliability and performance.

The antenna design team is supported by a full anechoic chamber facility that provides in depth analysis of antenna designs and solutions. Antenna design solutions include GPS location, Inmarsat D+, point to multipoint, telemetry, data links, DBS and marine.
